Cool Shit I Found This Week #3
Ding Ding Ding, Round 3 baby.
The markets been cooking, and I hope you guys are hitting your goals. But jobs not finished. We still have some juice left in the tank, which means there will be many more pumps.
I’ve been trying to up my research game, so I thought, in the process, why not share what I find with you guys. In my last two editions, I found a couple bangers which are now doing the rounds on Twitter. You can check them out here and here. The hope is to have a couple more this time around.
So let’s get into it me mateys.
#1 GenLayer
Twitter - https://x.com/GenLayer?s=20
“Here he goes again with his AI projects.”
I said it once, and I’ll say it again. ONE CHAIR, AI.
GenLayer is a smart contract blockchain, but it's not any other random alt L1, this chain is reinventing smart contracts through the use of AI.
I believe AI alt L1s will be a huge narrative. You already see it with NEAR, Arweave, TAO, NetMind, and many others. Within this narrative, I think GenLayer looks like it has a decent shot at success.
GenLayer re-invents smart contracts with something called intelligent contracts. These intelligent contracts use LLMs to interpret natural language and make smart contracts out of them. This essentially makes them easier to build and much more flexible.
You can make on-chain games with narratives that evolve based on player-made decisions. DAOs can be made more efficient and automated. Trustless knowledge bases can be built, and much more.
Now, I will say, the Twitter marketing is a bit cringe with all those hashtags, but the project seems pretty decent. Check the whole whitepaper out here and decide for yourself.
But I’m keeping an eye on it.
#2 Lanify.AI
Twitter - https://x.com/LanifyAI?s=20
If I were to put it simply, this project is essentially a Grass fork. You connect the browser extension and run the app. The app just uses the excess internet bandwidth that you aren’t using and distributes it to different AI labs. In return, you get paid in LAN tokens.
Simple.
The reason I mentioned this is because it’s still lowkey and relatively under-farmed, so it might be worth getting some in before everyone catches on. But of course, it’s a pure emission token, so I don’t know how much of a pump we get on it.
#3 TAO Projects
All of you know TAO and Bittensor by now, but some of the projects built atop are a bit lowkey. Granted, it’s been a bit of a grift fest thus far, but these two could be the diamonds in the dirt.
TAO Inscriptions
Twitter - https://x.com/TaoInscriptions?s=20
The inscription narrative has been hot everywhere, and now it's coming to Bittensor.
You can essentially use TAO tokens to etch certain moments and other things onto the Bittensor chain, and these inscriptions are called Eternals.
Now, how do we make money off this? I have no idea. It’s still early for this. So, if we keep tabs on it, something might launch or come up from which we could make money.
TAO Bot -
Twitter - https://x.com/taodotbot?s=20
Tao bot is a telegram trading bot. It’s pretty similar to all the other bots that you use, but it’s specific to TAO. So, instead of having to rack your brains over finding and sniping new projects there, you can just use this.
They have a token live, and it’s currently at $7m marketcap. Here’s the dexscreener:
TAOBOT $0.1050 - tao.bot / WETH on Ethereum / Uniswap - DEX Screener
Probably worth looking into.
#4 Drip
Twitter - https://x.com/DripDripFi?s=20
This project has no information around it but is followed by other good hunters, so I thought it would be worth a share.
The bio says that you can stake ETH or stables to earn your favorite tokens for free. This in itself sounds interesting, so it's worth keeping tabs on.
#5 Crypto Frodo
Twitter - https://x.com/frodo3301?s=20
This is an interesting one.
It’s an NFT treasure hunt sort of thing where you have to solve some mystery, and there’s apparently a 10 ETH prize at the end of it. I still haven’t tried it out, so I don’t know the details, but it sure does look fun.
Hopefully, you guys don’t figure it out before I do.
#6 TACEO
Twitter - https://x.com/TACEO_IO?s=20
This is a big-brain one. I tried to read the blogs and wrap my head around it but I couldn’t.
It has something to do with ZKML and privacy. I know both of those will be big narratives, so I’m keeping tabs on this, but if anybody can figure out what they do, please explain it to me in ape speak.
#7 Pnozi Finance
Twitter - https://x.com/NONOCoins?s=20
This is followed by nobody, so I can’t be sure as to how safe, but it seems like it could be a decent cook.
It will be a 100% fair launch, and 100% of the tokens will be used for liquidity. There will be taxes from which 75% will be put back into liquidity, and the remaining 25% will be used for marketing.
It claims to be a meme coin with ponzinomics that are yet to be revealed so it should be fun. Keeping eyes on this one.
Alright folks, that’s all from me. Hopefully you enjoyed. If you did, please subscribe and tune in to next week’s edition of Cool Shit I Found This Week.
